We are proud to announce the start of delivery of the BRIDGES project from 1st August 2016, right across the Black Country. The BRIDGES project is part of the Building Better Opportunities grant funded by The Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.
It supports unemployed people towards realising their self-employment aspirations. Working with the most vulnerable citizens across the borough Access to Business and BRIDGES will offer advice and guidance, information and practical solutions to develop ideas into a reality.
The project has received £10,670,000 of funding from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Managing Authority for the England European Social Fund programme. Established by the European Union, the European Social Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in project which will support skills development, employment and job creation, social inclusion and local community regenerations.
